The subject in this drawing is a buck white tailed deer alert and looking for possible danger. This was done from a photo of him "courting" a doe on our property. The deer was a 9 point and probably weighed nearly 300 lbs, a huge animal.
This is an 11X14 graphite and charcoal drawing with a balanced composition.
